From Chapter 10, " At The Pharmacy" As I look at various beauty products, I think about the same, daunting look I have had for years. When I worked at CAL Mastery, I often got my hair and nails done almost every month. I also wore a lot of red clothing, as well as red lipstick. Now that I am mostly home, however, I have let myself go, tremendously! I have not bought anything new for myself since the kids started to play sports and do their music lessons. I had believed I was one of those "supermoms"—the ones who seemingly do not put much emphasis into their looks, but instead, focus on being their children’s number one fan. My book is published! I am officially an author. Although it took incredible time, dedication, stamina, and strength to finish In The Dollhouse, it is my dream come true!
